International Day of the Girl Child is an annual and internationally recognised observance on October 11 that empowers girls and amplifies their voices. 

The theme for the International Day of the Girl Child 2022 is “Our time is now-Our rights, Our future” 

ALPs Lagos State is convening a Girls' Empowerment and Enlightenment Programme in celebration of  International Day of the Girl Child 2022. 

The event is scheduled to hold as follows: 

• Date – Tuesday, 11th October, 2022
• Venue – Pharmacy Villa, Plot 18, Block A1 Prince Adesoji Ajose Street Behind Holy Fire Evangelical Ministry, GRA Phase 2 Ogudu Lagos.
• Time - 10:00am – 1:pm
